Our Story So far....

I’m Chrissy Lawrence, and I live in the beautiful countryside of Lancashire, UK, with my partner Pauley.
I never set out to become a children’s author — but everything changed in January 2025 when we met our forever dog, Samson.

We began as his foster parents, but it didn’t take long to realise we could never let him go. So yes — as you’ve probably guessed — we adopted this lovable husky with the big heart on his back. 💕 Since he had no name when he came to us, we chose Samson, and we’re pretty sure he approves! 🐾

Samson has inspired me to create a children’s storybook series that shares his adventures and encourages young readers to explore their imaginations, dream big, and go on adventures of their own.

Wherever Samson goes, he brings smiles and joy — his handsome looks and big heart always attract attention, even though he can sometimes feel a little anxious in crowded or small spaces.
As you follow along with the Samson the Rescue Dog Adventure Series, you’ll get to know him just as we have — and I’m sure you’ll come to love him every bit as much as we do. 💛

Meet Samson

Samson is a 5+ year old husky. He was sadly found abandoned at the side of the road at the beginning of 2025. A wonderful animal rescue charity gave him a home for a short while until he found his forever home.
